B-group vitamin is a derivative of pantothenic acid. Dexpanthenol passes in the body into pantothenic acid, which is part of coenzyme A and is involved in acetylation processes, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrins, stimulates regeneration of the skin, mucous membranes, normalizes cell metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers. It has a regenerating, metabolic and mild anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications
Dry skin, treatment of damaged skin: minor injuries, burns (including sunburns), abrasions, bullous dermatitis, abscesses, boils, trophic ulcers of the shin, bedsores, cracks, aseptic postoperative wounds, skin grafts that do not take root, treatment and prevention of cracking and inflammation of the breast milk teats during lactation, treatment and prevention of diaper rash in infants.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Dosage and administration.
- Outwardly.
- The ointment is applied to the damaged or inflamed area of the skin once or more times a day.
- Breast care for nursing mothers: apply the ointment to the nipples after each feeding; it can also be used as a compress.
- Infant care: apply the ointment every time you change a diaper (diaper).
