Description

Phlebofa Pharmacodynamics
Angioprotective agent, a bioflavonoid. It has venotonic action, improves lymphatic drainage, improves microcirculation, reduces adhesion of leukocytes to the venous wall and their migration to the paravenous tissue, improves oxygen diffusion and perfusion in the skin tissue, has an anti-inflammatory effect. It blocks the production of free radicals, synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxane.

 

Indications
Varicose veins of the lower extremities, chronic lymphovenous insufficiency of the lower limbs, hemorrhoids, microcirculatory disorders.

 

Contraindications
Children and teenagers under 18 years of age, lactation (breast-feeding), hypersensitivity to diosmin.
Till now, in clinical practice, there have been no reports of any side effects when using in pregnant women. It is not recommended for use during breastfeeding because there is no data on excretion of diosmin with breast milk.
No teratogenic action on fetus was found in experimental studies.

 

Dosage and administration method
  • The drug is intended for oral administration.
