Ophthalmoferon Pharmacodynamics
OPTALMOFERON has a wide range of antiviral activity, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antimicrobial, local anesthetic and regenerating action.
Indications
Treatment of adenoviral, hemorrhagic (enterovirus), herpetic conjunctivitis, adenoviral, herpetic (vesicular, pitting, tree-like, kart-like) keratitis, Herpetic stromal keratitis with and without corneal eruption, adenoviral and herpetic keratoconjunctivitis, herpetic uveitis, herpetic keratouveitis (with and without eruption).
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Dosage and administration method
- In acute phase of the disease OFTALMOFERON is applied in the form of instillation into the eye – 1-2 drops up to 6-8 times daily. As the inflammatory process subsides, the number of instillations is decreased to 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is continued until symptoms disappear.
