The main active ingredient – hexose glycoside consisting of glucose, rhamnose, arabinose, mannose, xylose, galactose, uronic acids
Panavir® is an antiviral and immunomodulatory agent. It has antiviral action against herpes simplex viruses type 1 and 2.
It increases nonspecific resistance to various infections and promotes the induction of interferons.
Indications
Female genital herpes (in the treatment).
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the drug, severe renal and spleen diseases, pregnancy, lactation, age under 18 years.
Dosage and administration method.
- Intravaginal.
- The vaginal suppositories are inserted in the evening into the vagina, as deeply as possible, while lying on the back with the legs slightly bent, 1 vaginal suppository every day for 5 days.
- Repeated course of treatment is possible after consultation with a doctor.
