Sodium Nucleinate Pharmacodynamics
Sodium nucleinate is isolated from baker’s yeast. Sodium nucleinate has the activity of polyclonal immunostimulator, regulating migration of T-lymphocytes and processes of cooperation of T- and B-lymphocytes, increases phagocytic activity of macrophages and production of factors of non-specific protection. It has a wide range of biological activities. Accelerates the process of tissue regeneration, stimulates bone marrow and leukopoiesis.
Indications
Used in adults in the treatment of infectious diseases occurring against a background of secondary immunodeficiency states: chronic nonspecific lung diseases, chronic recurrent viral and bacterial infections, secondary immunodeficiency states associated with aging, correction of leukopenia and agranulocytosis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation.
Dosage and administration
- Inside, after a meal.
- The daily dose – 1-2 grams in 3-4 doses. Course of treatment – 10 days (depending on the severity of the disease – up to 6 weeks).
- For elderly and senile patients with decreased immune status – 1-1.5 g / day for 2-3 weeks, twice a year (spring and fall).
- If leukopenia is present in adults – 1 tablet 2-3 times a day, the course of treatment is determined individually, on average 10 days.
- The course of therapy with the drug (including for the treatment of chronic diseases) is possible two to three times during the year.
