Sialor Aqua Pharmacodynamics
Helps to maintain a normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa, as well as to liquefy mucus and normalize its production by mucous membrane bocalytic cells. Trace elements contained in the sea water have anti-inflammatory effects, stimulate reparative processes, improve the function of the intermittent epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, promotes its purification.
Usage during pregnancy and lactation
It is possible to use the drug in pregnancy and during breast-feeding according to indications.
Indications
– Adenoids, acute, allergic, vasomotor rhinitis, chronic diseases of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, sinuses, including those accompanied by dry nasal mucosa.
– Prevention of nasal cavity infections in the fall and winter, in changing climatic conditions (rooms with air conditioning and / or central heating), the presence of polluted ambient air (smokers, vehicle drivers, hot and dusty shops).
– Nasal cavity and sinus wounds cleaning before and after surgical interventions.
– Hygiene procedures of the nasal cavity (including infants).
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Dosage and administration
- The drug should be used intranasally.
- For therapeutic purposes (treatment of diseases of the nasal cavity mucosa, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx):
- – For children under 1 year (infants) – 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 1-3 times a day;
- – For children from 1 to 7 years – 2 drops in each nostril 4 times a day;
- – For children 7-16 years old – 2 drops in each nostril 4-6 times a day;
- – Adults – 2-3 drops in each nostril 4-8 times a day.
- The course of treatment 2-4 weeks, if necessary, the treatment is repeated after 1 month.
- With prophylactic purpose:
- – children under 1 year of age (infants) – with turundas moistened with the drug, 2 times a day, or by instillation of 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day;
- – for children from 1 to 7 years of age – 1-2 drops in each nostril 1-3 times a day;
- – For children 7-16 years old – 2 drops in each nostril 2-4 times a day;
- – Adults – 2-3 drops in each nostril 3-6 times a day.
- For hygienic purposes: to soften and remove nasal secretions the drug is put repeatedly (removing excess fluid with absorbent cotton or a handkerchief) in each nostril until the complete softening and removal of secretions. Children under 2 years of age should be nasal lavage in the supine position. Turn the child’s head sideways, wash the upper nasal passage, then repeat the procedure with the other nasal passage. Sit the child, wipe the nasal discharge. Children over 2 years of age and adults should bend the head sideways, wash the upper nasal passage, repeat the procedure with the other nasal passage.
