Prostatylene Forte Pharmacodynamics
Has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Reduces the degree of swelling, leukocytic infiltration of the prostate, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secretion of the acini, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. Reduces thrombosis, has anti-aggregant activity, prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate.
Indications
Chronic abacterial prostatitis, conditions before and after operations on the prostate, benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 18 years of age.
Dosage and administration method
- rectally. One suppository 50 mg once a day (morning or evening). The suppository is inserted deep into the anus after defecation or purgative enema. The suppository should be moistened with water before use. After insertion it is desirable for the patient to stay in bed for 30-40 minutes. The course of treatment – at least 10 days for chronic prostatitis, at least 15 days – with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
