MestaMidin-Nose Description
MestaMidin®-nasal mucous membrane solution (hereinafter referred to as solution, remedy, product) is a transparent colorless or slightly colored viscous solution.
Area of application and purpose
Area of application – otorhinolaryngology.
The product is intended to care for nasal cavity.
Properties and efficacy
MestaMidin®-nasal mucous membrane remedy has antiseptic properties, effectively moisturizes and promotes healing of the nasal mucosa. The components included in the product eliminate the feeling of dryness of the mucosa, and the structure of the product provides a prolonged moisturizing effect, forms a protective barrier and creates excellent conditions for healing. Thanks to its moisturizing properties it helps to maintain a physiological microclimate and prevents the growth of bacteria. Restoration of physiological functions of the mucous membrane enhances local immunity, increasing the resistance of the nasal mucosa to viruses and pathogens.
Indications
-For a protective antiseptic barrier in the nasal cavity and inhibit the activity of pathogenic bacteria multiresistant to antibiotics;
-to humidify the nasal mucosa;
-To accelerate regeneration of the nasal mucosa after surgical interventions;
-To maintain the physiological microclimate of the nasal cavity.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of the solution.
Childhood under 1 year.
Dosage and administration
- Use MestaMidin®-nasal mucous membrane solution as needed, not more than twice a day or as prescribed by your doctor.
- Clean the nasal cavity before applying the solution. For this purpose it is desirable to use nasal cavity washing (irrigation) with isotonic solution of seawater.
- Using a pipette, apply 1-3 drops of the solution to the nasal mucosa, distributing the solution evenly. Close your nostrils by clamping them on the sides and massage with your fingers. This ensures even distribution of the product. If necessary, remove excess solution with a napkin.
