Description
Retinalamin Pharmacodynamics
Stimulator of tissue regeneration, peptide bioregulator.
It stimulates photoreceptors and cellular elements of the retina, improves functional interaction of the pigment epithelium and outer segments of the photoreceptors in case of dystrophic changes, accelerates restoration of the retina light sensitivity.
Normalizes vascular permeability, stimulates reparative processes in diseases and injuries of the retina.
Indications
– compensated primary open-angle glaucoma;
– diabetic retinopathy;
– Post-traumatic and post-inflammatory central retinal dystrophy;
– Central and peripheral tapetoretinal abiotrophy.
Contraindications
– Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
– pregnancy.
Dosage and administration method
- The drug is administered parabulbar or intravenously by 5-10 mg once a day for 5-10 days. If necessary, carry out a second course in 3-6 months.
- Rules for preparing the solution
- The contents of the vial is dissolved in 1-2 ml of 0.5% procaine (novocaine) solution, water for injection or 0.9% sodium chloride solution.
