Plantaglucid Pharmacodynamics
The drug is of plant origin. It reduces the tone of smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines, has a moderate antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect, reduces swelling of the folds of the mucous membrane of the stomach. Regulates the secretion of gastric juice, increasing its acidity, mainly in patients with hypoacidity.
Indications
Hypoacid gastritis, peptic ulcer with normal or reduced acidity.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity, hyperacid gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum with hyperacidity.
Dosage and administration
- Inside, 2-3 times a day for 30 minutes before a meal.
- Adults – 1/2-1 teaspoon (1/2-1 g), children – 1/2 teaspoon (1/2 g).
- Before taking the specified amount of drug diluted in 1/4 cup warm water.
- The course of treatment during exacerbation – 3-4 weeks.
- For the prevention of relapses – 1 teaspoon (1 g) 1-2 times a day for 1-2 months.
