Description

Pentaflucin Pharmacodynamics
Pentaflucin® is a combined medicine and has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Paracetamol is a non-narcotic analgesic, it blocks cyclooxygenase enzyme type 1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase enzyme type 2 (COX-2) mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the centers of pain and thermoregulation. In inflamed tissues, cellular peroxidases neutralize the effect of paracetamol on cyclooxygenase, which explains the almost complete lack of anti-inflammatory effect.
Ascorbic acid plays an important role in the regulation of redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, increases the body’s resistance.
Diphenhydramine – has an antihistamine effect, as well as sedative and hypnotic.
Calcium gluconate – is a source of calcium in the body, it has anti-allergic effect (mechanism is unclear), prevents the development of increased vascular permeability and fragility that causes hemorrhagic processes during influenza and acute respiratory viral infection, and restores capillary blood flow. For the treatment of allergic diseases or complications is recommended its combined use with antihistamines.
Rutin – reduces capillary permeability and fragility, has antioxidant properties.
