Description
Vixipin Pharmacodynamics
The drug reduces capillary permeability, strengthens the vascular wall, stabilizes the cell membrane, inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces blood clotting and viscosity, has anti-aggregation and anti-hypoxic effect.
Indications
– Treatment and prevention of corneal inflammations and burns;
– Treatment of hemorrhages in the anterior chamber of the eye;
– Treatment and prevention of sclera hemorrhages in the elderly;
– Thrombosis of the central retinal vein and its branches;
– Treatment of myopia complications;
– diabetic retinopathy.
Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to the drug components, pregnancy, breast-feeding, children under 18 years old.
Administration during pregnancy and breast-feeding
Using the drug during pregnancy and breast-feeding is contraindicated.
Directions for use and dosages
- The drug is instilled into the conjunctival cavity in 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day.
- The duration of the course of treatment depends on the course of the disease (usually 3 to 30 days) and is determined by the physician.
- In case of indications and good tolerance of the drug the treatment course may be continued up to 6 months or repeated 2-3 times a year.
