Motherwort Extract Pharmacodynamics
It has a calming effect, decreases the frequency and increases the strength of heart rate, has hypotensive properties. The nature of the effect is similar to that of valerian drugs.
Indications
Increased nervous irritability, neurasthenia, insomnia, neurocirculatory dystonia.
Contraindications .
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Gastric and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, arterial hypotension, glucose-galactose malabsorption, intolerance of fructose, pregnancy, breast-feeding, children under 12 years of age.
Caution
People with diabetes and people on a low-carbohydrate diet.
Dosage and administration.
- Inside. Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (14 mg) 3-4 times a day an hour before a meal. The course of treatment is three to four weeks. The retreatment course is possible by doctor’s recommendation.
