Acylact Pharmacodynamics
Acylact is a microbial mass of live antagonistically active lactobacillus acidophilus strains Lactobacillus acidophilus 100ash, NK1, K3Sh24, lyophilized in culture medium with addition of protective (sucrose-gelatin-lactic) drying medium, molded into suppositories
Acylact has a high antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microbes, including Staphylococcus spp, Escherichia coli, Proteus spp, which determines the corrective action of the drug in violation of the vaginal microbiocenosis.
Indications
– Colpitis, caused by opportunistic pathogens. Appointed as an independent agent or after completion of antibiotic therapy;
– vaginal dysbiosis, including bacterial vaginosis. Appointed as an independent remedy or in combination therapy;
– Subacute and chronic vaginal infections. Appointed after the completion of antibiotic therapy for rehabilitation;
– Hormone-dependent colpitis, senile, etc. Prescribed against a background of specific hormonal therapy;
– Preparation for elective gynecological surgery in order to prevent postoperative infectious complications;
– prenatal preparation of pregnant women at risk for the development of inflammatory diseases in order to prevent and treat vaginal dysbiosis;
– as an adjunct in combination with specific antimicrobial, antiviral and immunomodulatory therapy in the treatment of urogenital infections and sexually transmitted diseases (gonorrhea, urogenital chlamydia, urogenital herpes, etc.).
Perhaps a combined use of suppositories and one of the oral forms of lactobacillus acidophilus on the advice of a physician.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of Acylact.
It is not recommended for use with vulvovaginal candidiasis.
Children’s age, taking into account anatomo-physiological features.

Use during pregnancy and during lactation:
Lactobacilli are representatives of the normal human microflora. Preparations based on them are recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation (see Indications for use).
Dosage and administration
- Acylact is used vaginally: A
– In the treatment of colpitis caused by opportunistic microorganisms, Acylact is prescribed vaginally with 1 suppository 2 times a day for 5-10 days.
– In the treatment of vaginal dysbiosis, including bacterial vaginosis, Acylact is prescribed vaginally for 1 suppository 2 times a day for 5-10 days.
– In the treatment of senile colpitis of hormonal nature Acylact is prescribed vaginally by 1 suppository 2 times a day for 5-10 days against the background of specific hormonal therapy.
– In the treatment of subacute and chronic vaginal infections, for rehabilitation after a course of antibiotic therapy, Acylact is prescribed vaginally for 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 10 days. The course is repeated as prescribed by the doctor in 10-20 days.
– For the prevention of postoperative infectious complications in preparation for elective gynecological surgery Acylact is prescribed vaginally 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days before the expected operation or delivery.
– During the prenatal preparation of the pregnant women of the “risk group” in case of a vaginal discharge of up to degree III-IV Acylact is administered vaginally with 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days or more, while monitoring the recovery of vaginal discharge purity to degree I-II and the disappearance of clinical symptoms.
– As an adjunct in the treatment of urogenital infections Acylact is prescribed vaginally 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 10 days. - If after the course of treatment no improvement occurs or the symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, you should consult your doctor.
- Use Acylact only according to the indications, the way of application and in the doses specified in the instructions.
