Description

Extract of helichrysum (Flamin for kids) Pharmacodynamics
Drug of plant origin, has a choleretic, choleretic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic and wound healing action. Increases the secretion of bile and increases the content, in it bilirubin, increases the tone of the gall bladder and promotes the outflow of bile. It has a relaxing effect on the smooth muscle sphincters of the gallbladder and biliary tract, changes the viscosity and chemical composition of bile.
By stimulating the secretion of gastric juice and slowing down the evacuatory function of the stomach and intestines, it promotes better digestion. Activates external secretory activity of the pancreas; dilates blood vessels of the intestine.
By promoting the release of cholesterol in the bile, has hypocholesterolemic effect, has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria.

 

Indications
Hepatitis, chronic hepatocholecystitis, cholelithiasis, biliary dyskinesia (in the treatment).

 

Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to Extract of helichrysum (Flamin for kids), cholelithiasis, obstructive jaundice, deficiency of sugar and isomaltase, congenital intolerance to fructose, glucose-galactose malabsorption, age under 1 month.
If you have one of the above diseases, be sure to consult with your doctor before taking the drug.
Caution:
Patients with diabetes mellitus and persons on a diet low in carbohydrates; patients with arterial hypertension.

 

Dosage and administration
  • Children from 1 month to 12 years of age, orally, as a suspension, 3 times a day 30 minutes before a meal.
  • For preparation of the suspension, 1.5 teaspoons (7.5 ml) of water, freshly boiled and cooled to room temperature, are added to the contents of the pouch (1.38 g) and stirred to a smooth suspension.
  • The suspension is shaken before use.
  • Shelf life of the suspension is not more than 10 days.
  • The drug is prescribed to children depending on their age:
  • From 1 month to 1 year – 1 bag per day;
  • From 1 to 3 years – 2 bags per day;
  • From 4 to 5 years – 3 bags per day;
  • From 5 to 12 years – 4 packets a day.
  • Duration of treatment – 10-40 days.
  • Repeated courses are possible by agreement with the doctor.
