Chondroitin sulfate, which is a high molecular weight mucopolysaccharide, slows bone resorption and reduces calcium loss. Improves calcium-phosphorus metabolism in cartilage tissue. Accelerates the process of regeneration, inhibits the process of degeneration of cartilage and connective tissue. It inhibits enzymes that cause cartilage tissue damage, stimulates synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, promotes regeneration (restoration) of articular bag and cartilage surfaces of joints, increases production of intra-articular fluid. Due to its structural proximity to heparin, it prevents the formation of fibrin clots in the synovial and subchondral microcirculatory bed. Reduces pain and increases the mobility of affected joints.

Slows the progression of osteoarthritis.

Dimethyl sulfoxide, which is part of the gel, has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and fibrinolytic effect, promotes better penetration of chondroitin sulfate through cell membranes.
