Ramni Pharmacodynamics
Ramni® contains antacids – calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which provide fast and prolonged neutralization of excessive hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, thus providing a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach. Achieving a positive effect within 3-5 minutes is due to the good solubility of the tablets and the high content of calcium.
Indications
Symptoms related to hyperacidity of gastric juice and reflux esophagitis: heartburn, acid regurgitation, recurrent pain in the stomach, overfilling and heaviness in epigastric region, dyspepsia (including that caused by inappropriate diet, medications, abuse of alcohol, coffee, nicotine), dyspepsia of pregnant women.
Contraindications
Severe renal insufficiency, hypercalcemia, hypophosphatemia, nephrocalcinosis, hypersensitivity to the drug components, sucrose/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, children under 12 years of age.
Administration during pregnancy and lactation
When used in recommended doses, the drug is not dangerous to the fetus or child.
Dosage and administration
- Orally.
- If the doctor has not recommended otherwise, chew 1-2 tablets (or hold in the mouth until dissolved). If necessary, the drug may be repeated after 2 hours.
- Maximum daily dose is 11 tablets.
