BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Florin forte restores the normal microflora of the human body, inhibits the activity of pathogens of infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and upper respiratory tract on account of the included in the preparation live probiotic bacteria: bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium bifidum), sorbed in the form of microcolumns, and lactobacilli (Lactobacillus plantarum).

The combined action of bifidobacteria sorbed on activated carbon in the form of microcolumns and lactobacilli provides accelerated normalization of the quantitative and qualitative composition, metabolic and functional activity of the microflora, increase the suppressive effect on pathogens of acute intestinal infections, acute respiratory viral infections and their removal from the body, increases nonspecific resistance.

Bifidobacterium bifidum contained in the product have antimicrobial action due to antagonistic activity towards pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, immunomodulatory action – they stimulate the synthesis of immunoglobulins, interferons, cytokines, take part in the formation of local immunity, activate mucous membrane repair and parietal digestion, produce enzymes, short-chain fatty acids and lactic acid. Bifidobacteria are biosorbents, neutralize toxins, accumulate toxic substances and remove them from the body.

Lactobacillus inhibit the growth of pathogens through the production of lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, lysozyme, are involved in the metabolism of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, nucleic and bile acids, activate the immune system, prevent the formation of long-term intestinal diseases by increasing the overall resistance of the body. Lactobacillus has hypocholesterolemic effect, reduces the redox potential, and binds bifidobacteria harmful oxygen radicals.

Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium bifidum have strong suppressive effect against rotavirus and hemolytic Escherichia coli, produce antibiotic-like substances – bacteriocins, are involved in the synthesis of vitamins, use lactose during life as the main source of nutrition.

It is not absorbed into the bloodstream.

POSSIBILITY TO USE THE DRUG DURING PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING

The drug is approved for use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

-Diseases accompanied by a violation of the normal intestinal microflora with a deficit of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli or normal intestinal bacilli

-Acute intestinal infections caused by rotaviruses and/or opportunistic pathogens

-Acute intestinal infections of undetermined etiology

-Acute respiratory diseases of both viral and microbial origin

-Chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), including those with detected hemolytic E. coli and associations of opportunistic pathogens in high titers

-Restoration of normal intestinal flora during convalescence period after diseases

-Dysbacteriosis of various etiologies.

Contraindications .

Congenital lactase deficiency. Impaired absorption of glucose-galactose. Individual intolerance to the drug.

• The drug is intended for use in adults and children from the first days of life (including premature babies).
• Age appropriate dosage:
• -Adults: 2 bags 3 times a day,
• Children under 6 months of age – 1 sachet 2 times a day,
• -Children from 6 months to 3 years, 1 sachet 3 times a day,
• -Children from 3 years of age and older – one bag 3 – 4 times a day.
• The course of treatment:
• -with diseases accompanied by a violation of the normal intestinal microflora 10 – 15 days,
• -With acute intestinal infections 5 – 7 days,
• -With acute respiratory diseases 5 – 10 days,
• -In chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract 10 – 15 days,
• -During the period of recuperation after illnesses 10 – 15 days,
• -At dysbacteriosis 10 – 15 days.
• Florin forte orally with meals, if necessary, regardless of the meal. The drug is mixed with liquid foods, preferably fermented dairy products, newborns and infants – with breast milk or formula for infant feeding. You can mix the contents of the capsule with 5-30 ml of boiled water at room temperature in a spoon or glass, which forms a turbid suspension with particles of sorbent black. The resulting aqueous suspension should be drank without achieving complete dissolution.
