Antibodies to human tumor necrosis factor alpha affinity purified
It was proved experimentally and clinically that the drug modulates the production and functional activity of endogenous tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF?) in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis, back pain; nonspecific ulcerative colitis (NUC). It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. By reducing the production of a number of pro-inflammatory cytokines, inflammatory mediators prevents the progression of inflammatory damage of tissues and target organs in inflammatory degenerative diseases of the joints and UC.
Indications
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis (including spondyloarthritis) and other joint diseases. During remission it is possible to use the drug in monotherapy, during exacerbation – as part of complex therapy (with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
Non-specific ulcerative colitis of mild to moderate severity.
Contraindications .
Increased individual sensitivity to the drug components.
It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years old (because of the lack of experience of clinical use).
Using during pregnancy and lactation
The safety of using Artrofoin in pregnant women and during lactation has not been studied. If it is necessary to use the drug, consider the risk/benefit ratio.
Dosage and administration
- Inside. At one reception – 2 tablets (hold in the mouth until dissolved – not during a meal).
- Rheumatoid arthritis, ostearthritis (including spondyloarthritis) and other joint diseases.
The drug should be taken twice a day, in the evening and in the morning (before and after bedtime). The recommended duration of drug administration is up to 6 months.
If severe pain syndrome in the first 2 – 4 weeks of therapy is recommended to take the drug up to 4 times a day, in the complex therapy. When the condition improves, gradually switch to taking 2 tablets 2 times a day. - Non-specific ulcerative colitis.

If marked exacerbation of the disease (abdominal pain, diarrhea) in the first 2-4 weeks of therapy is recommended to take the drug up to 4 times a day. When the condition improves, switch to taking 2 tablets 2 times a day.
