Description
Timogen cream Pharmacodynamics
It has a regulatory effect on the reactions of cellular, humoral immunity and nonspecific resistance in the place of application (skin). Stimulates regeneration processes in case of their inhibition (e.g., under prolonged systemic and local use of glucocorticosteroids). Improves cellular metabolic processes by affecting glutamate metabotropic receptors.
Indications
As part of the complex therapy:
– Atopic dermatitis, including those complicated by secondary bacterial infection;
– Chronic eczema (true and microbial);
– Chronic pyoderma, including chronic diffuse streptoderma;
– Mechanical, thermal and chemical traumas of the skin.

Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the excipients of the drug, pregnancy and lactation. If necessary, please consult a physician before taking the drug.
It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding because of insufficient clinical data.
Directions for use and dosages.
- Outwardly. The drug is applied thinly to the affected area 1-2 times a day (morning and evening). The recommended daily dose – 2 g cream (1 mg thymogen). A strip of cream from a tube with a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 4 cm has a mass of 1 g.
- Course duration is until the local manifestations of the disease subside. The maximum course duration is 20 days. After applying the cream affected area should not be covered with a bandage.
