Description
Lespeflan Pharmacodynamics
The complex of biologically active substances contained in Lespeplan® increases renal filtration, decreases azotemia, increases excretion of azoles with urine, increases urine output, increases sodium and to a lesser extent potassium excretion.
Indications
The drug is used in adults for symptomatic therapy as hypoazotemic and diuretic drugs in chronic renal failure (of different origin, in latent compensated and intermittent stages, in combination therapy).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, childhood age under (18 years), liver disease, alcoholism, brain injury or brain disease.
It is not recommended to use the drug in patients treated with medications depressing central nervous system, insulin, hypoglycemic agents (metformin, sulfonylurea derivatives), drugs causing ethanol intolerance (disulfiram-like action).
Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Use in pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.
Dosage and administration
- Directions for use: Oral. Shaking is recommended before use. It is allowed to dilute the drug with water before use.
- Laspeflan® is used 5-15 ml (1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon) 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.
- If necessary, the course of treatment is prolonged to 6 weeks. It is possible to repeat the course in 2 weeks.
