Afala Pharmacodynamics
Reduces the effects of inflammation and edema in the prostate, normalizes its functional state. It improves urodynamics, decreases the volume of residual urine, normalizes the tone of the lower parts of the urinary tract, helps to reduce dysuric disorders.
Indications
Benign prostatic hyperplasia stages I and II.
As part of the treatment of acute and chronic prostatitis – as anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent.
Dysuric disorders (frequent urge to urination, including at night, difficulty in urination, pain or discomfort in the perineum), including those associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia stages I and II, acute and chronic prostatitis.
Contraindications .
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. It is not recommended for using in patients under 18 years old due to insufficient data about efficacy and safety for this age.
Pregnancy and lactation
Afala is not intended for use in women.
Dosage and administration method
- Orally. At one reception of two tablets (kept in the mouth until completely dissolved – not during meals). The drug should take twice a day, in the evening and in the morning (before and after bedtime). The recommended duration of drug intake is 16 weeks.
- If the marked pain syndrome and dysuric disorders in the first 2 to 3 weeks of therapy is indicated by taking the drug up to 4 times a day.
- If necessary, according to the doctor’s recommendation, it is possible to repeat the course of treatment in 1 – 4 months.
