Glutamic Acid Pharmacodynamics
Glutamic acid is involved in protein synthesis (a substitutable amino acid) and is a glutamine receptor neurotransmitter.
Indications
Compensation of glutamic acid deficiency.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; febrile syndrome, hepatic and/or renal insufficiency, peptic ulcer, anemia, leukopenia; hyperexcitability, violent psychotic reactions; nephrotic syndrome; bone marrow hematopoiesis suppression; obesity; glucose/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Childhood under 18 years of age.
Caution
Liver disease.
Usage during pregnancy and lactation.
Use as recommended by the physician.
Application of the drug is possible if the expected benefits exceed the risk for the fetus and the child.
Dosage and administration
- Inside, 15-30 minutes before a meal (with the development of dyspepsia – during or after a meal).
- Adults – 1 g 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment – from 1-2 to 6-12 months.
