Vasalamin Description
Vasalamin was derived from bovine vessels and is a complex of proteins and nucleoproteins that have a selective effect on the vascular tissue, contributing to the regulation of vascular wall functions, positive dynamics of blood cholesterol and lipoprotein content.
It was found that vasalamin administration in patients with arterial atherosclerosis contributed to improvement of general well-being, especially it was observed in patients with cerebrovascular disorders. Skin and hair condition improved in most patients with senile purpura. Vasalamin administration contributed to a significant decrease in the level of total cholesterol in the blood. There was also a tendency to decrease the content of very low density lipoprotein cholesterol, which is the most atherogenic. In patients with senile purpura after using vasalamin an increase in the strength of capillary walls was observed, as evidenced by the Hess test results; the frequency of hemorrhage spots has decreased.
