Description

Kudesan Pharmacodynamics
Ubidecarenone (coenzyme Q10, ubiquinone) – a natural substance, which is a vitamin-like coenzyme. Ubidecarenone is an endogenous substrate, is involved in the transport chain of electrons in the redox processes, in energy metabolism, in the reaction of oxidative phosphorylation in the respiratory chain of mitochondria cells. Participates in cellular respiration processes by increasing synthesis of adenosine triphosphoric acid (ATP). It has a clinically significant antioxidant effect. Protects cell membrane lipids from peroxidation. Reduces the zone of myocardial damage under conditions of ischemia and reperfusion. Ubidecarenone prevents QT interval prolongation, improves exercise tolerance. Due to endogenous synthesis 100% satisfaction of the body’s need for coenzyme Q10 occurs only up to 20 years of age. Concentration of coenzyme Q10 decreases in elderly patients and in various diseases in both adults and children.

Indications
– As part of complex therapy:
In adults: chronic heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, coronary heart disease, including myocardial infarction (during recovery therapy), arrhythmias, arterial hypertension.
In children from 1 year old: Chronic heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, chronic gastroduodenitis, chronic pyelonephritis, metabolic nephropathy, migraine, neuro-circulatory dystonia, inherited neurodegenerative diseases (mitochondrial encephalomyopathy (MELAS syndrome), Leigh syndrome, tuberous sclerosis), congenital myopathies, muscular dystrophies, diseases associated with metabolic disorders (asthenic syndrome, the recovery period after severe diseases and surgery).
– Period of preparation for heart surgery (coronary artery bypass surgery, congenital and acquired defects) in adults and children from 1 year on the doctor’s recommendation.
– For improvement of adaptation to increased physical activity in adults and children from 1 year of age.
– For the prevention and make up for the lack of coenzyme Q10 in adults and children from 1 year.

Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the drug components. Childhood age under 1 year.
With caution:
In arterial hypotension.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The drug is not recommended for use in pregnant and lactating women because of the lack of sufficient experience in clinical use.
