Description
Turpentine ointment Pharmacodynamics
Means plant origin. It has a local irritant and “distracting” effect, which are achieved by stimulating the skin receptors and the local release of biologically active substances (including histamine). It also has antiseptic action.
Indications
As an aid in rheumatic pain, arthralgia, neuralgia, myalgia, lumboishialgia.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, disorders of integrity or inflammatory skin conditions at the site of intended application, pregnancy and lactation.
With caution:
Hepatic and/or renal insufficiency, childhood.
Dosage and administration.
Outwardly, 1-3 times a day. Apply to the painful areas of the skin and rub with gentle circular motions.
