Zelenina Drops Pharmacodynamics
Combined drug of herbal origin.
Belladonna leaf has m-cholin-blocking and antispasmodic action. Prevents the stimulating effect of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces muscle tone of gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts and gall bladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV conduction. Dilates pupils, obstructs outflow of intraocular fluid, increases intraocular pressure, causes accommodation paralysis.
Lily of the valley tincture has a cardiotonic effect.
Valerian rhizome and roots has sedative and antispasmodic. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. Sedation is slow onset, but fairly stable. It has a choleretic effect, increases the secretion of mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract, slows the heart rate, dilates coronary vessels. Action on myocardial activity is mediated through neuroregulatory mechanisms and direct effect on automatism and cardiac conduction system.
Menthol is a local irritant, has venotonic, analgesic, reflex coronary dilation and antianginal action.
Indications
– functional disorders of the cardiovascular system;
– increased nervous irritability;
– Chronic heart failure (as part of complex therapy).
Contraindications
– hypersensitivity;
– closed-angle glaucoma;
– endocarditis;
– myocarditis.
Dosage and administration
- It is taken orally in 20-25 drops 2-3
