Sulfur Ointment Simple Pharmacodynamics
When applied to the skin sulfur interacts with organic substances, forming sulfides and pentathionic acid, which have antimicrobial and antiparasitic effect.
When the external application of sulfur ointment, its composition is practically not absorbed into the systemic circulation.

Hypersensitivity to sulfur and any of the excipients of the drug, pregnancy, breast-feeding, children.
Dosage and administration.
- Outwardly.
- Treatment of adults lasts 5 days. The first day treatment is done in the evening before bedtime after a thorough shower with warm water and soap. The ointment is rubbed into the skin on hands, then the torso and feet, including soles and fingers. Only clean underwear and clothing should be used after skin treatment. On the 2nd and 3rd days you take a break in treatment, but do not wash off the rest of the ointment from the skin. On the 4th day in the evening the patient washes with soap and soap and rubs the ointment as on the first day, using the remaining ointment and once again changes all underwear. Hands should not be washed for 3 hours after treatment; thereafter, hands should be treated with ointment after each wash. If the ointment is washed off other skin areas should also be re-treated. The ointment is completely washed off the skin on the fifth day of treatment.
