Description

Ingasalin Description
Hypertonic sterile inhalation solution Ingasalin® (hereinafter – the solution) is a clear colorless or slightly colored solution. The solution does not contain preservatives.
Area of application – pulmonology (as prescribed).
The solution is intended to accelerate osmotic mechanism of viscous secretion (sputum) in respiratory tract.
Properties and efficacy
Inhalation of Ingasalin® solution accelerates osmotic mechanism of viscous secretion (sputum) in respiratory tract. The high concentration of salt attracts water and promotes rehydration of bronchial mucus.
Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), a component of Ingasalin®, has the ability to bind a large number of water molecules and hold them in the interfibrillar space, participates in defense mechanisms by stimulating the movement of cilia, protects lung tissue from the deleterious effects of enzymes.
Due to the presence of hyaluronic acid in Ingasalin® composition, tolerability and adherence of patients to therapy is significantly improved.
Ingasalin ® is especially indicated for patients with cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis.

Indications
– Respiratory system diseases with severe secretions of viscous secretions (sputum) in the airways;
– Acute bronchitis;
– Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis;
– bronchiectatic disease;

Contraindications .
