Description
Hemorrex Pharmacodynamics
The active substance of the preparation is sodium alginate – a natural polysaccharide derived from brown seaweed. It has strong hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and reparative effects.
Indications
Chronic anal fissures in the stage of epithelialization, chronic bleeding hemorrhoids, proctosigmoiditis and inflammatory phenomena in the rectum in the postoperative period.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Childhood (under 14 years).
Using during pregnancy and lactation.
The drug is not contraindicated in pregnancy and during breast-feeding.
Directions for use and dosages
- Rectally. The suppository is loosened from the wrapping, and the sharpened tip is inserted after emptying the bowels or purging enema, deep into the rectum, if possible.
- Adults and children over 14 years of age – 1 suppository 2 times a day.
- The duration of treatment with the drug is 7-14 days.
- If after treatment no improvement occurs or symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, consult a doctor.
