Sea buckthorn oil stimulates reparative processes in the skin and mucous membranes, accelerates the healing of damaged tissue, has an anti-inflammatory effect. It has antioxidant and cytoprotective effect (due to the presence of fat-soluble bioantioxidants reduces the intensity of free radical processes and protects cell and subcellular membranes from damage).
Indications
Hemorrhoids. anal fissures, erosive-ulcerative lesions of the rectum (including erosive-ulcerative sphincteritis and proctitis), catarrhal and atrophic proctitis, radiation damage to the mucosa of the lower parts of the colon.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, diarrhea.
Administration during pregnancy and lactation
Administration of the drug during pregnancy and breast-feeding is possible if the expected benefits to the mother exceed the potential risk to the fetus or child. It is necessary to consult a physician.
Dosage and administration
- Rectally. After emptying the bowels, the suppository is inserted deep into the anus. Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age – 1 suppository 2 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is 10-15 days. If necessary, in consultation with the doctor, the course of treatment is repeated after 4-6 weeks.
