Marena Dye Extract Pharmacodynamics
The main active ingredient of the drug is a dry extract of Marena dye, obtained from the rhizomes and roots of Marena dye – Rubia tinctorum L. and its Georgian variety Rubia tinctorum L. var.iberica Fisch. Ex DC, ( R.iberica (Fisch ex DC.) Koch in the genus Rubiaceae. Dried Marene dye extract has diuretic and antispasmodic effects, promotes loosening of urinary concrements containing calcium and magnesium phosphates and their removal from the kidneys and urinary tract.
Indications
Pills Dye Marene extract is used in adults with renal stone disease to reduce cramps and facilitate the removal of small stones and sand.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, marked renal failure, peptic ulcer, galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Dosage and administration
- The drug is prescribed orally, 1 tablet 3 times a day. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 2-3 tablets three times a day. The tablets should be dissolved in a glass of warm water before taking them.
- The course of treatment is 20-30 days. Conducting a second course of treatment is possible after 4-6 weeks after consultation with the doctor.
