A combination drug, the effect of which is due to its constituent components.
Lysozyme is an enzyme of protein nature, is used as an antiseptic due to its direct effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and viruses, takes part in the regulation of local non-specific immunity. Pyridoxine – has a protective effect on the oral mucosa (anti-aphtha effect). Does not affect the pharmacodynamic properties of lysozyme.
Indications
Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, gums and pharynx: gingivitis, stomatitis, catarrhal conditions of the upper respiratory tract, aphthous ulcers, herpetic lesions (in combination therapy), erosions of the oral mucosa of any etiology.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity, children under 3 years of age.
Allergic to chicken protein.
Dosage and administration
- Pyridoxine, lysozyme (FluCold LOR) is used topically. The tablet should be placed under the tongue, chew slowly, without chewing, keeping the melted mass of the tablet in the mouth as long as possible, until the complete dissolution. Children 3-7 years of age are usually prescribed 1 tablet 3 times a day, 7-12 years – 1 tablet 4 times a day. Adults and children over 12 years of age – 2 tablets 3-4 times a day.
- The course of treatment is 8 days.
