Samprost Pharmacodynamics
Reduces edema, leukocytic infiltration and thrombosis of prostate venules, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secretion of acini, stimulates bladder muscle tone.
Reduces thrombosis, has antiaggregant activity.
Indications
Samprost® is used in adults for the treatment of chronic prostatitis and complications of prostate surgery.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Dosage and administration method
- The drug is administered intramuscularly in dose 5-10 mg once a day for 5-10 days.
- Before injection the drug is dissolved in 1 ml of 0.25-0.5% procaine solution, 0.9% sodium chloride solution or water for injection.
- If necessary, repeat the course (in 1 to 6 months).
