Prostatylene Pharmacodynamics
A drug of animal origin for the treatment of prostate diseases. Helps reduce swelling, stasis and leukocytic infiltration of the prostate gland. Normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. Due to anti-aggregant properties prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate.
Indications
Chronic abacterial prostatitis, conditions before and after operations on the prostate, benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 18 years of age.
Dosage and administration method
- Rectally.
- One suppository once a day (morning or evening).
- The suppository is inserted deep into the anus after defecation or purgative enema.
- Before using the suppository should be moistened with water.
- After insertion it is desirable for the patient to stay in bed for 30-40 minutes.
- The course of treatment – at least 10 days for chronic prostatitis, at least 15 days – with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
