Prostatex Pharmacodynamics
Prostatex has organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Reduces the degree of edema, leukocytic infiltration of the prostate, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secret of the acini, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. Improves microcirculation in the prostate by reducing thrombosis, anti-aggregant activity, prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate.
Prostatex normalizes the parameters of the prostate gland and ejaculate. Reduces pain and discomfort, eliminates dysuric phenomena, improves copulatory function.
Indications
Chronic prostatitis.
The states before and after surgical procedures on the prostate.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Dosage and administration
- Rectally, one suppository after spontaneous bowel movement or enema once a day. After insertion of the suppository it is desirable for the patient to stay in bed for 30-40 minutes. The duration of treatment with Prostatex is at least 10 days.
- If necessary, repeat courses are possible.
- If after treatment there is no improvement, or symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, consult a doctor.
