Indications
Micro traumas and superficial lesions of the skin and mucous membranes, otitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, periodontal disease.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to bee products, pollinosis, severe eczema.
Dosage and administration.
- Outwardly, locally.
- Areas with superficial injuries of the skin (micro-traumas) are treated with a tampon dipped in propolis tincture 1 – 3 times a day.
- With chronic suppurative otitis after thorough cleansing of pus in the ear is introduced a tampon soaked in propolis tincture for 1 – 2 minutes 2 – 3 times a day or 1 – 2 drops in the ear 3 – 4 times a day.
- With chronic pharyngitis and tonsillitis massage tonsils 1 – 2 times a day for 8 – 15 days.
- In addition, with chronic tonsillitis propolis tincture solution in a ratio of 1:20 is used for inhalation. The course of treatment of 1 – 2 inhalations a day for 7 – 10 days.
- In periodontal disease propolis tincture is administered in turundas in periodontal pockets for 5 minutes after deep curettage. When the mucous membrane of the mouth an aqueous solution of propolis tincture (15 ml per 1/2 cup of warm water) is used to rinse 4 – 5 times a day for 3 – 4 days.
