Amintax Pharmacodynamics
A combination drug, the action of which is due to its constituent components. It has antibacterial, bactericidal and antifungal effects. Neomycin and polymyxin B are active against many gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms; Streptococcus spp. and anaerobic bacteria are insensitive to these antibiotics.
Nystatin has a fungicidal effect against fungi of the genus Candida.
It improves trophic processes in the vaginal mucosa.

Treatment.
Infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by susceptible microorganisms:
nonspecific, fungal, mixed vaginitis, vulvovaginitis and cervicovaginitis.
Prevention.
– Preoperative prevention of infectious complications during gynecological interventions;
– Before and after diathermocoagulation of the cervix;
– Before intrauterine diagnostic procedures;
– Before childbirth.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
I trimester of pregnancy.
Period of lactation.
Administration during pregnancy and lactation
Application during pregnancy in the second and third trimesters is possible only by prescription when the expected benefits to the mother exceed the potential risk to the fetus.
If it is necessary to use the drug during lactation, breast-feeding must be discontinued.
During breast-feeding the drug is contraindicated.
Directions for use and dosages
- For intravaginal use.
Lying on his back, the suppository is inserted deep into the vagina the evening before bedtime. - The course of treatment is 12 days.
- The prophylactic course of 6 days.
If the drug is skipped, the treatment should be resumed in the usual dose.
If after treatment no improvement or worsening of symptoms or appearance of new symptoms after treatment, consult a doctor. - Use the drug only according to the indications, the route of administration and the doses stated in the instructions.
