Menovazine-Renewal Pharmacodynamics
Combined drug for external use. It has a local anesthetic effect.
Levomenthol when applied to the skin irritates nerve endings, dilates surface vessels of the skin, causing a feeling of coolness, accompanied by analgesic effect and relief of itching. It enhances the anesthetic effect of procaine and benzocaine.
Procaine is a local anesthetic agent with moderate anesthetic activity. It blocks sodium channels, prevents the generation of impulses in the endings of sensitive nerves and conduct of impulses along the nerve fibers.
Benzocaine is a local anesthetic for surface anesthesia. It prevents the generation of pain impulses in the endings of sensitive nerves and their conduction along the nerve fibers.
Indications
As a local anesthetic in cases of neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, skin integrity disorders or inflammatory skin diseases at the site of application (including dermatitis, eczema), pregnancy, children under 18 years of age.
Administration during pregnancy and lactation
Application of the drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and during breast-feeding (due to lack of data).
Dosage and administration.
- Outwardly.
- Applied to the skin over the affected area and rubbed 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment depends on the therapeutic effect, but no more than 3-4 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated.
