Complex of biologically active substances Lutein-Intensive helps to improve the functional state of the visual apparatus:

Our eyes have a natural mechanism of protection from the damaging effects of external factors – the pigment layer, whose work is provided by carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin accumulate in the cells of the central area of the retina (macula) – the most important part of the eye for visual perception – and have protective and shielding functions. The level of lutein and zeaxanthin in the retina determines the ability to maintain full vision.
Deficiency of these substances reduces the protective function of the retina against damaging factors (UV radiation, bright light, radiation from computer screens or TV). This can lead to increased sensitivity to light, decreased visual acuity, and gradual structural and functional changes.
Since lutein is not synthesized in the human body, and zeaxanthin is formed in the retina directly from lutein, regular intake of lutein with food – at least 5 mg daily – is necessary to prevent development of negative changes and to maintain visual acuity. And if you have risk factors, this amount should be doubled! Unfortunately, our normal diet contains much less than the normal amount of these carotenoids needed to maintain vision.
Lutein-Intensive contains the vitamins and minerals necessary for vision as well as the maximum amount of lutein and zeaxanthin – carotenoids which are concentrated in the central area of the retina (macula) that provides visual acuity and color perception.
