Ketoprofen-Organica Pharmacodynamics

It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects associated with inhibition of cyclooxygenase 1 and cyclooxygenase 2 activity, which regulate Pg synthesis. By acting on cyclooxygenase and lipooxygenase link of arachidonic acid metabolism, it inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins, leukotrienes and thromboxanes. It has central and peripheral analgesic effect, anti-bradykinin activity, stabilizes lysosomal membranes, causes significant inhibition of neutrophil activity in rheumatoid arthritis patients.
