Immunoglobulin Compex Pharmacodynamics
MAC is a lyophilized protein solution containing immunoglobulins of IgG, IgA, IgM classes, isolated from human plasma which was tested for absence of antibodies to the human immunodeficiency virus HIV-1 and HIV-2, antibodies to the hepatitis C virus (HCV) and the surface antigen of the hepatitis B virus (HBsAg). Technology of preparation preparation preparation includes two special stages of inactivation of possibly present viruses.
Immunologically active fraction of human serum proteins containing immunoglobulins of G, A, M classes is the active ingredient of the preparation. Immunoglobulins have high antibody titers against wide range of viruses and bacteria of different classes which ensures effective treatment action of the preparation.
After oral administration, KIP has a local effect in the lumen of the small and large intestine by blocking microbial cell receptors, thereby reducing the adsorption of microbes on the cells of the epithelium of the intestinal mucosa and inhibiting the reproduction of adsorbed microbial cells, weakening or preventing the development of the infection process.
Indications
Complex treatment of acute intestinal infections caused by Enterobacteriaceae, in children aged 1 month to 14 years.
Contraindications
Use of IPC is contraindicated in persons with a history of allergic reactions to human immunoglobulins.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The drug is not intended for use in adults.
Dosage and administration method
- By mouth, 1 dose, equal to the content of one vial, 1-2 times a day for 5 days. Before use, the drug is dissolved in 5 ml (1/2 tablespoon) of boiled water at room temperature by gentle shaking for not more than 5 minutes.
- Dissolved drug is a colorless transparent liquid, slight opalescence is allowed. The drug is used on an empty stomach 30 minutes before a meal.
- The drug in the opened bottle should not be stored.
