Description
Tear Artificial Pharmacodynamics
Protector of the corneal epithelium, has a lubricating and emollient effect, is highly viscous, increases the duration of contact of the solution with the cornea. The index of refraction of the solution is similar to natural tears. Restores, stabilizes and reproduces optical characteristics of the tear film. Extends the action of other eye drops and protects the cornea from their irritating effects. Subjective and objective improvement of condition (epithelization, reduction of hyperemia and lesions) usually comes within 3-5 days, significant improvement or complete recovery within 2-3 weeks.
Indications
-Lack of lacrimation, lagophthalmus, eyelid deformities, ectropion, conditions after eyelid plasty, corneal erosions and trophic ulcers, conditions after chemical and thermal burns of cornea and conjunctiva, bullous dystrophic corneal changes, keratopathy, microdefects of corneal epithelium, conditions after keratoplasty, keratectomy;
-for prolongation of action or elimination of irritating action of other eye drops;
