Description
Aminalon Pharmacodynamics
Nootropic, improves metabolic processes of brain tissue, promotes utilization of glucose by the brain and removal of toxic products of metabolism. Increases thinking efficiency, improves memory, has a moderate psychostimulant effect, a positive effect on the restoration of movement and speech after impaired cerebral circulation. It has a mild hypotensive effect, reduces initial high blood pressure (BP) and the severity of symptoms caused by hypertension (dizziness, insomnia), and slightly reduces heart rate. It has a moderate antihypoxic and anticonvulsant effect. In diabetic patients it reduces glucose content, while in normal blood glucose content it has the opposite effect (due to glycogenolysis).
