Description
Tramicent Pharmacodynamics
Antibiotic of the group of aminoglycosides for topical use in otolaryngology. It has a bactericidal effect. It is active against the majority of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae), causing the development of infections in the upper airways.
Indications
As part of combination therapy for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, including:
– rhinitis;
– rhinopharyngitis;
– Sinusitis (in the absence of septal damage).
Prevention and treatment of inflammation after surgical procedures.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Framicetin and other antibiotics from the group of aminoglycosides. The drug should not be used for irrigation of the sinuses. Pregnancy and period of breast-feeding.
Administration during pregnancy and breast-feeding
Usage of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated.
Directions for use and dosages
- Intranasally.
- Adults: one injection in each nostril 4 to 6 times a day.
- Children: one injection in each nostril 3 times a day.
- Duration of treatment – not more than 7 days.
