Cough syrup for adults Pharmacodynamics
Combined drug, has expectorant, anti-inflammatory action. Thermopsis extract dry enhances the secretion of bronchial glands; licorice extract dry has anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antispasmodic action. Sodium hydrogen carbonate shifts pH of bronchial mucus in the alkaline side, reduces the viscosity of sputum, licorice root has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic, sodium benzoate and ammonium chloride have expectorant action.
Indications
As an expectorant for respiratory diseases, accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to separate (including tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acute glomerulonephritis, acute pyelonephritis, pregnancy and breast-feeding. Sucrose/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, age under 18 years.
Dosage and administration
- Inside, adults: the contents of 1 sachet (single dose) dissolve in 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of cooled boiled water, take inside 3-4 times a day.
- The course of treatment for 2-3 weeks.
