Description
Polysorb MF Pharmacodynamics
Polisorb MF is an inorganic non-selective polyfunctional enterosorbent based on highly dispersed silica with a particle size of up to 0.09 mm and the chemical formula SiO2. Polysorb MF has sorption, detoxifying, antioxidant and membrane stabilizing properties.
The preparation adsorbs from intestinal contents and removes from the body exogenous and endogenous toxins of different origin including pathogenic bacteria and bacterial toxins, antigens, food allergens, drugs and poisons, heavy metal salts, radionuclides and alcohol.
Polysorb MF also adsorbs some products of the body’s metabolism (including bilirubin, urea, cholesterol and lipid complexes).
