Description
Chlorhexidine vaginal suppositories Indications
– prevention of sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, ureaplasmosis, trichomoniasis, gonorrhea, syphilis, genital herpes, etc.);
– prevention of infectious and inflammatory complications in obstetrics and gynecology (before surgical treatment of gynecological diseases, before childbirth and abortion, before and after installation of an intrauterine device (IUD), before and after cervical diathermic coagulation, before intrauterine examinations);
– treatment of bacterial vaginosis, colpitis (including nonspecific, mixed, trichomoniasis).
Contraindications
– Children;
– Hypersensitivity to the components of Chlorhexidine vaginal suppositories.
With caution: pregnancy, lactation.
Dosage and administration method.
- Intravaginal. Pre-release suppository from the outline cell packing, it is inserted into the vagina in a supine position.
- For treatment: 1 suppository 2 for 7-10 days. If necessary, treatment may be prolonged for up to 20 days.
- For the prevention of sexually transmitted infections: 1 suppository not later than 2 hours after sexual intercourse.
