Antacid drug of local action. GASIT tablet contains antacid substances – calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which provide rapid and prolonged neutralization of excessive hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, thereby providing a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach. Achieving a positive effect within 3-5 minutes is due to the good solubility of the tablets and the high content of calcium.
Indications
Symptoms associated with increased gastric acidity and reflux esophagitis:
– heartburn;
– sour belching;
– intermittent pain in the stomach area;
– Feeling of congestion or heaviness in the epigastric region;
– dyspepsia (including that caused by an inaccurate diet, taking medications, abuse of alcohol, coffee, nicotine);
– dyspepsia of pregnant women.
Contraindications .
– Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
– fructose intolerance (because the drug contains sorbitol);
– Severe renal insufficiency;
– hypercalcemia;
– hypophosphatemia;
– nephrocalcinosis;
– Children under 12 years of age.
Administration during pregnancy and lactation
The drug is not dangerous for a fetus or a child when applied in recommended doses.
Dosage and administration
- Orally.
- If the doctor has not recommended otherwise, chew 1-2 tablets or hold in your mouth until dissolved. If necessary, the drug may be repeated after 2 hours.
- Maximum daily dose is 11 tablets.
