Timogen Pharmacodynamics
It has a regulatory effect on the reactions of cellular and humoral immunity and nonspecific resistance. Stimulates regeneration processes in case of their inhibition. It improves the processes of cellular metabolism. Increases the expression of differentiation receptors on lymphocytes, normalizes the number of T-helpers, cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and their ratio in patients with various immunodeficiencies.
Indications
The complex treatment of acute and chronic viral and bacterial diseases accompanied by immune impairment:
– viral hepatitis;
– Acute and chronic nonspecific lung diseases (NSPD): chronic bronchitis, acute and chronic pneumonia;
– Skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases (pyoderma, furunculosis, rust inflammation);
– Complex treatment of severe diffuse forms of atopic dermatitis;
– Complex treatment of severe mechanical, chemical, radiation and thermal injuries (burn disease);
– Complex treatment of wound and surgical infections, including purulent-septic complications in the postoperative period;
– during preoperative preparation for elective surgery in order to prevent infectious complications and stimulate regenerative processes.
– After radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and prolonged antibiotic therapy at high doses.

Indication of the possibility and characteristics of medical use of the drug by pregnant women, women during breast-feeding, children, adults with chronic diseases:
For safety reasons, due to insufficient data, prescribing the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible only if the estimated benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus or child. There are no peculiarities of this medicine administration in children and adults with chronic diseases.
Directions for use and dosages
- Intramuscularly once a day.
- Adults and children over 14 years of age – 100 micrograms (300-1000 micrograms per course), children 6 months to 1 year – 10 micrograms, 1 to 3 years – 10-20 micrograms, 4 to 6 years – 20-30 micrograms, 7 to 14 years – 50 micrograms. The course of treatment lasts from 3 to 10 days. The second course of treatment may not be repeated earlier than 1 month later. During the year you can conduct 4 courses.
